JOB DESCRIPTION

In the role of Spare Parts Manager at HUBER Technology, you will help keep the Nordic wastewater treatment plants running. It is an exciting role with many customer contacts primarily in Sweden, Finland, and Norway, but also in the USA, Europe, and various other locations. Your tasks include receiving customer inquiries regarding spare parts when their machines need to replace wear parts or have experienced downtime. It is essential to act quickly and work with the customer to determine exactly which part they are looking for. You will have various systems, drawings, and databases, as well as experienced colleagues to assist you. Once we are certain of which parts are needed, you will be responsible for quoting the parts to the customer and getting them to place an order. Once we have won the orders, you will be responsible for the entire chain from ordering and purchasing to picking, packing, delivery, and invoicing, as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES

We believe you have a suitable high school or vocational education with a technical or logistics focus. You have an interest in technology, mechanics, and preferably electronics, and are comfortable with technical terms. You appreciate contact with customers and suppliers and communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish, Finnish, and English. Understanding Norwegian and German is a plus. Having a driver's license is essential, and if you also have a forklift license A&B, we would be pleased, but we can arrange that otherwise. You enjoy a bit of detective work as it can sometimes be tricky to understand what the customer means or when there is limited information to go on. You have likely worked in a similar role before and enjoy the mix of customer and supplier contacts, you are organized, and you appreciate a combination of office work and warehouse and logistics tasks.

PERSONALITY

As our customers' operations are critical to society and sometimes cannot afford to stand still, it is important to act quickly and push suppliers to deliver the parts. You are a team player who helps and receives help from colleagues, and you appreciate taking a moment to reflect to improve the collective outcome. You have a good sense of self-awareness and are willing to share your experiences while listening and taking in what others say. Since the job is quite transaction-intensive, it is beneficial if you value organization and the importance of meeting deadlines. We hope you enjoy making a plan and trying to stick to it but understand that rescheduling is an important aspect. The position is based at the office in Lindome, just south of Gothenburg, but there is an opportunity for hybrid work.
