Glava Energy Center is seeking a communicator who wants to create relevant and understandable content that interests and engages partners and members in the energy transition.

About Glava Energy Center

Glava Energy Center is an innovation cluster, an educational actor, and a member-driven association working for a smart and sustainable energy system locally and regionally in Värmland and the border region between Sweden and Norway. We run a variety of projects, networks, and initiatives – including local energy management, energy communities, circular economy, training, test beds, and climate-smart solutions. An important starting point is that we want to support our partners and member companies with knowledge that enhances their ability to contribute to their own and society's energy transition. With several new projects and an increasing number of members, Glava Energy Center is growing as an organization. We currently have 14 employees and are now looking for a communicator to complement our team.

About the job as a communicator

As a communicator with us, you will be responsible for planning, production, publishing, and follow-up of communication activities – both internally and externally. You will work closely with project leaders, other communicators, colleagues, and partners to spread knowledge, increase visibility, and create engagement around our activities.

We are looking for someone with good experience in:

• Web publishing in modern CMS tools.
• Publishing on social media, using tools like Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn.
• Interviews, text production, and plain language.
• Content production for and distribution of digital newsletters.
• Content production for PowerPoint.
• Production of target group-adapted and accessible content – in both Swedish and English.
• Graphic tools like Photoshop or InDesign for simpler image handling or layout.

You will also be involved in planning and executing seminars, webinars, and other events, and contribute with some documentation related to various initiatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in communication or equivalent experience.
• Documented experience of working independently with the entire communication chain.
• The ability to prioritize, structure, and follow up on initiatives effectively.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams).
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and a good ability to express yourself in spoken and written English.

Meritorious:

• Experience in project work, for example through EU projects.
• Experience in sustainability-integrated communication.

About the position

• Project employment for approximately three years, with the possibility of extension.
• Working hours: 75–100 %.
• Start as soon as possible or by agreement.
• Flexible workplace: At our offices in Arvika and Glava – or partially remote.
