The interest in sports and play is significant in our municipality, and we are currently in a development phase. Therefore, we are now looking for a park worker focused on our sports facilities and playgrounds to strengthen our team.

In the Parks Department, we work both strategically and operationally with the municipality's outdoor environments to create welcoming, safe, and beautiful places for our residents and visitors. The Parks Department is responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of the municipality's public parks, outdoor environments at public facilities such as schoolyards and preschools, natural areas, bathing places, hiking trails, playgrounds, and squares.

Job Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues in the Parks Department, you will drive the daily operations and maintenance of the municipality's sports facilities and playgrounds.

Main job responsibilities:

• Operation and maintenance of the municipality's sports facilities and playgrounds, which includes mowing and maintaining grass fields, artificial turf fields, exercise tracks, and playgrounds.
• Your tasks will also include the development of our playgrounds and sports facilities, as well as maintaining contact with associations, placing certain orders for materials and services, and handling error reports in our operational systems.
• As a park worker with us, we help each other with all tasks, so the work will also include tasks such as clearing urban-adjacent forests, operating bathing places, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience working with playgrounds or sports facilities or equivalent work experience that the employer deems comparable. A B driver's license is required. Experience or education from a similar role is advantageous, as is experience working with machinery. You need some computer skills. For this position, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

The work involves physically challenging tasks at times, weekend work, and readiness for winter road maintenance is included in the position.
