Our Workplace
The Northern Västerbotten operational area is a unit with about 60 employees located in Skellefteå, Lycksele, Vilhelmina, and Storuman. The unit is divided into three sections. Our customers are job seekers and employers in Northern Västerbotten, which may involve some travel to our 9 municipalities to meet on-site when needed. Our main mission is to equip, match, and support job seekers on their way to work and/or studies, as well as assist employers in finding workforce, thereby contributing to skills supply and a functioning labor market. We strive to create a work environment where the balance between work and leisure is of the highest priority.
Job Description
As an Employment Officer, you will focus on job seekers and employers, and you will be an important support for them, making a difference every day. A central part of the job is to inform and communicate about the Employment Agency's mission, services, as well as rights and obligations. The work requires curiosity and the ability to simplify the complex.
We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with people who have difficulty establishing themselves in the labor market. You will map individuals' competencies, barriers, and motivations, as well as develop and coordinate initiatives in collaboration with relevant actors. The work may also include guidance, educational initiatives, and development of job search strategies.

We are now looking for a new colleague to work with SIUS (Special Introduction and Follow-up Support), a program for job seekers with disabilities who need individual support to find, obtain, or retain a job. The job involves close collaboration with employers in both the private and public sectors, often on-site.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The place of employment is Lycksele.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- University/higher education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system)
- Alternatively, you have been employed as an Employment Officer at the Employment Agency and are assessed to have good prospects of meeting today's requirements for Employment Officers
- And at least 2 years of work experience, collectively working at least 50 percent over a total of 2 years
- Good knowledge of Swedish, that is, good ability to communicate in speech and writing, as well as high reading comprehension
- Driving license B
Other Merits for the Position
- Experience working with labor-oriented rehabilitation and/or with target groups that have disabilities or other special needs
- Experience building and maintaining external collaborations, for example with companies and other actors in the labor market
