The Assistive Technology Center is organizationally part of Regionservice. The Transport and Storage Unit is located in Göviken and is close to Östersund Hospital.

The Assistive Technology Center is responsible for supplying the region's residents with assistive devices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an assistive technology technician, you will work in a team with other technicians in a work rotation at the workshop. Your main tasks will include:

• Technical service and reconditioning
• Repair and corrective maintenance
• Adjustments of existing assistive devices
• Technical advice
• Receiving incoming goods

The work is often independent but also in collaboration with users, colleagues, and prescribers. Documentation is done in the business system Sesam2 for registering all activities. Active work for good inventory management and a good product range. The work primarily takes place in the Assistive Technology Center's premises, but travel within the region may also occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education with a technical focus or equivalent experience.

We prefer that you have training and/or experience in electrical and electronics. A B driver's license and computer skills are required, as well as the ability to express yourself in both words and images in Swedish.
