Job responsibilities

In the role of security technician, you will work with service and troubleshooting of security systems. Your main tasks include installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems such as fire/evacuation alarms, intrusion alarms, access control systems, and video surveillance. You are responsible for identifying and rectifying faults, performing service according to agreements, and handling urgent service matters. Additionally, customer contact is part of the role where you act as a technical advisor to ensure that the systems function optimally. The work is carried out both independently and in teams depending on the scope of the assignment.

Geographically, the work is primarily within a 10-mile radius of Östersund, but travel within Jämtland and surrounding areas may occur. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Completed upper secondary education, preferably as an installation electrician or similar
• Several years of experience in installation and service of security systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
• Driving license B
