Härjeåns is a comprehensive provider of energy solutions with energy and heat production, electricity and fiber networks, and electricity trading. For about 30 years, Härjeåns has operated a large-scale fuel production facility, and our pellet factory delivers pellets to businesses, municipalities, and homeowners in Scandinavia. With our combined heat and power plant, we add district heating and electricity production to our operations. We are now looking for an Operations Technician in Sveg.

About the job

As an Operations Technician, you will work to maintain the factory's production processes to achieve our production goals as efficiently as possible – always with safety and customer focus. You will also investigate, troubleshoot, and document operational conditions to find improvements in the production process. Your tasks will also include monitoring, some machine operation, and ensuring that everything functions in the process plant and factory area.

We are curious about you

As a person, you are engaged, like to take responsibility, and see opportunities. You need to have good social skills and enjoy collaborating with your colleagues while being self-driven and able to make your own decisions. To thrive and perform in the role of Operations Technician, we believe that your personal qualities are as important as your qualifications. We know that the best energy solutions arise in teams where diversity and different perspectives are encouraged, and we actively work for a culture where everyone can develop and thrive. We welcome applicants from various backgrounds, interests, and experiences.

Qualifications

It is an advantage if you have a university degree or vocational training in operational technology, power and heat, or equivalent education. Alternatively, you have gained equivalent knowledge through experience from previous work in combined heat and power production, process industry, energy sector, or similar operations. You are accustomed to using a computer as a working tool and can therefore document, manage reports, and manuals. We expect you to have a driver's license (B). It is good if you have experience with some machine operation, but training can be arranged on-site.

What do we offer you?

We offer you an interesting job in a highly relevant energy sector where we invest significantly in both skills development and a good working environment. Below are some examples of what we do to ensure you thrive with us:
