Maintenance Technician Wanted
Are you the person who never gives up until you find the fault? Do you thrive best with tools in hand, blueprints on the table, and a tight-knit team to solve problems with? Then you might be our next maintenance technician.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for a sharp technician with an eye for detail and a passion for technology. As a maintenance technician, you will work hands-on with troubleshooting, service, repairs, and modifications on vehicles that move throughout our society. Your day-to-day tasks will vary – one day you might dive deep into a complex electrical system, the next day you could be changing wheel axles or uploading software updates. You will work shifts at a modern depot alongside knowledgeable colleagues and have the chance to grow in a global future industry where safety, development, and collaboration are in focus.
What We Offer
- Colleagues who support, challenge, and develop you
- Opportunities to grow and shape your technical career
- A workplace where you actually make a difference – every day
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced vehicles
- Work with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Interpret blueprints, follow instructions, and work systematically
- Troubleshoot using documentation – or on your own when manuals run out
- Document completed work in systems
- Be an important part of a team that keeps vehicles rolling and safe
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a technical background, preferably in electrical, automotive, industrial, or similar fields
- Is curious, analytical, and has an eye for detail
- Thrives in a team but can take responsibility
- Understands how technology works – in practice, not just in theory
- Enjoys solving problems and thinking one step ahead
- Is okay with shift work (day/evening/weekend/holidays)
- Is proficient in both Swedish and English
It is a plus if you have:
- Forklift certification, overhead crane training, or experience from the rail, aviation, or automotive industry
- Worked with electrical schematics and control systems
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following personal qualities:
- Helpful
- Stress tolerant
- Organized
- Responsible
You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive here. But we can promise that you will feel pride the next time you step onto one of the vehicles.
Additional Information:
This is a summer assignment starting in May and working until the end of September, where we are looking for several technicians!
