Civil Aircraft Technician Cat. B1 for Helicopter Maintenance
Applicant Unit:
2. The Helicopter Maintenance Section, which conducts maintenance on Helicopter 15 (Agusta 109 LUHS) and Helicopter 16 (UH-60M Black Hawk), is seeking new technicians as we are in a growth phase.
Main Responsibilities:
As a helicopter technician, you will perform maintenance on Helicopter 15 and 16. You will work in a service team that carries out maintenance tasks of varying complexity. The tasks involve line and base maintenance, including troubleshooting and corrective maintenance, as well as calendar and flight time maintenance. The position also includes other operationally related tasks, such as participation in exercises. You will work both independently and in teams, sometimes alongside personnel from the aircraft maintenance companies. The position may involve training for various specialist competencies such as NDI/NDT, welding, composites, etc.
The work will involve some travel within Sweden and may also include work abroad.
You will be assigned to military service and receive basic soldier training lasting approximately three weeks. All personnel within the Armed Forces have an overseas obligation, meaning you may be called to serve in another country.
Qualifications:
- Valid certificate according to EASA part 66 and/or EMAR part 66. Alternatively, B1 COR from an approved part 147 training.
- Experience in Aircraft/Helicopter Maintenance.
- Good knowledge of English.
- You will undergo a security clearance with a background check.
Desirable Qualifications:
- EASA part 66 certificate B1:3, B2.
- Documented part 145 practice of at least two years.
- If you only hold B1.1, an approved M12 is desirable but not a requirement as we will provide you the opportunity to complete M12 during working hours.
- EMAR certificate.
- Type course HKP15 and/or HKP1.
- Training in the follow-up system FENIX.
Personal Attributes:
You are meticulous, driven, and engaged, with a strong focus on safety. You work independently under your own responsibility, and your ability to collaborate is good. You are flexible and open to tasks in other areas than your area of expertise. Good physical ability is required, as you will have the opportunity for three hours of physical activity during work hours each week. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
