Intern Wanted at Sveriges Radio Finska

Sveriges Radio Finska offers a creative workplace with a lot of heart. We are now looking for an intern for the autumn of 2025.

At the center of events, you will become an important part of a company that values democracy, freedom of speech, and the equal worth of all people. An internship at Sveriges Radio could be the beginning of something very exciting!

Are you a curious journalism student with your own drive and an interest in people? You should be able to speak Finnish and preferably also write in Finnish. On our various platforms, we work in both languages, often with a focus on Finnish.

An internship at Sveriges Radio Finska means you will learn everything from creating current news segments and participating in live broadcasts to developing your own news stories together with our experienced editorial team. You will gain insight into how we broadcast programs and how we engage with our audience. You will learn the craft and the everyday work at the editorial office from the ground up and become part of public service. Your tasks will vary, and we want you to try as much as possible of what we do. You will have a mentor who, together with you, will create a plan for the internship, guide you through it, and of course provide feedback on what you do.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a broad interest in society with a particular focus on minority issues
• Has good knowledge of Finnish in both spoken and written form
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Has a wide network within the Swedish-Finnish target group
• Is particularly interested in publishing on various platforms

The most important thing is, of course, that you are curious about the work of a journalist and want to learn during your internship.
