Training Adjutant

P 18 Training Battalion

The Training Battalion at P 18 is responsible for organizing and leading the regiment's conscription training as well as standing units with GSS/K. The volume of conscripts at P 18 is increasing significantly each year, and we need more training adjutants. You will be placed in one of our basic training companies, where the main task is to train conscripts. As a training adjutant, you will be part of the company leadership and together with the platoon leaders support the conscription training.

Main Responsibilities

As a training adjutant, your main responsibilities are at the company level where you primarily work with administrative tasks such as:

• Travel, compensation, and grant administration for conscripts.
• Ordering goods, materials, services, and food.
• Basic financial and personnel administration.
• Support the company in the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems.
• Assist the company with other administration.
• Commandant duties may occur during training and exercise activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
• Driver's license B - manual transmission.

Personal Attributes

We see that you are a responsible, action-oriented person with a service-minded approach. As a training adjutant, there are also requirements for orderliness, flexibility, and personal integrity. You will be in contact with the conscripts to a large extent, so social skills are also required. You enjoy working independently within your own areas of responsibility.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal attributes.

MERITORIOUS

• Approved basic military training (conscription/GMU of at least 6 and 3 months respectively).
• Good IT skills in the Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Service as GSS or administrator in the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Experience in military logistics service, adjutant training, and service as an adjutant within the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Familiarity with working with SAP/PRIO and Atlas.
• Experience in travel administration.
• Driver's license for military vehicles.
• Experience in administrative work.
• Experience in serving as a commandant.
• Good physical ability.

• Employment type: Permanent, Civil position. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period.
• Employment degree: Full-time. The position may involve travel as well as evening, night, and weekend duties.

The position entails placement in a security class, and an approved security clearance is a requirement before taking up the position. The position also entails military placement in the Swedish Armed Forces.

The Gotland Regiment was re-established on January 1, 2018, to strengthen the Swedish Armed Forces' presence on the strategically important island. Since 2020, conscripts have been trained again at P 18, and the unit will gradually be given more capabilities until 2030.
