Eskilstuna District Court is a medium-sized court that handles criminal cases, civil cases, and various matters. Our operations are characterized by quality, efficiency, and well-being. The court is organized into two case divisions and one administrative unit. We have about 45 employees. Each case division consists of judges, prosecutors, court administrators, and clerks and is led by a chief judge. A common case manager oversees the court administrators.

As a court administrator, you are part of a work team in a case division. The court values modern working methods, including digitized case and matter management. Therefore, there is an opportunity to work remotely to some extent.

Eskilstuna is a growing city in Mälardalen, surrounded by beautiful outdoor areas and waterways. The city is home to Mälardalen University. Commuting options are very good, and a train ride to Stockholm takes about 60 minutes. The court is located in modern premises opposite the train station.

Job Description: As a court administrator at Eskilstuna District Court, you will be offered varied and developing tasks in a socially important and exciting operation. Together with judges, clerks, legal advisors, and other court administrators, you will handle criminal cases, civil cases, and other types of cases and matters. You will have many contacts with parties, representatives, authorities, and the public. The work involves, among other things, receiving and registering documents, managing correspondence, planning criminal trials, calling for hearings, taking notes during hearings, drafting proposals for decisions, and issuing judgments and decisions, etc. You will also register cases and matters.

Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have at least a 3-year high school education or experience deemed equivalent and have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. You must have documented experience from at least one year of administrative work that the employer deems relevant to the position.

Good knowledge of English. Good computer skills and viewing the computer and email as natural working tools.

It is advantageous if you have experience of similar work from another court or authority.

- Court administrators play a very significant role in enabling the court to carry out its tasks. To perform well, you need to be results-oriented and demonstrate good judgment. You prioritize organizing and structuring your work carefully and thoroughly. You are also interested in both developing in your professional role and contributing to the development of the court's operations.

- The tasks of court administrators are varied and require that you can work at a fast pace and switch between different tasks during periods of high workload. You need to be meticulous even under pressure, able to absorb knowledge quickly, and have the ability to see the big picture.

- You must be able to work independently while being a team player who enjoys collaborating and helping your colleagues when needed.

- You are a positive person who is engaged in your work, and this is evident in both your internal work at the court and in your contacts with the public and the court's parties.
