We are looking for a team member who wants to participate in the work of identifying and reporting deficiencies in the materials delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces. About the position

The purpose of the Material Inspection is to identify and report deficiencies in the use, handling, and storage of materials both before and after the handover from FMV to the Armed Forces. On behalf of the Armed Forces, you will, in your role, together with others in the material inspection, check materials and material systems as well as the activities linked to the materials.

Before each inspection, you will work on preparations and analyses. During and after inspections, you will issue objective reports both in writing and verbally.

As an engineer within the material inspection, you will also be tasked with providing extensive analytical support to the Armed Forces regarding needs and availability reporting for supplies in the organization.

Working within FMV, and particularly in the material inspection, involves close collaboration with all branches of the Armed Forces, and travel demands are high as inspections take place at respective units.

The position is based in Stockholm.

About you

We are looking for someone who is a trained officer, civil or engineering graduate, or has relevant education in another field, alternatively equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. The position is open to professional officers in other authorities (YAM) OF2/OR6 or higher.

To succeed in the role, you have experience from the Armed Forces' material and maintenance systems as well as knowledge of the Armed Forces' organization and structure.

It is advantageous if you have experience of service in the Armed Forces and of the Armed Forces' material supply and maintenance processes. We would also like you to have worked with maintenance planning, storage, preservation, or dehumidification technology. If you also have experience working on projects or knowledge of the Armed Forces' asset reporting in the PRIO and/or Lift systems, we see this as an advantage.

Furthermore, you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of the Office suite.

Personal qualities are of great importance to us.
