JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help develop Taubeskolan with us? Taubeskolan is a F-6 school with about 350 students and 35 staff members.

We are now looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in woodworking and metalworking for grades 3-6 for a 60% position.

You will be an important cog that inspires and challenges students in their knowledge, social, and personal development. You will plan and develop teaching together with another craft teacher and other colleagues. The tasks are standard duties to create and develop a learning and safe environment for students based on our governing documents, with stimulation and inspiration in focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher in woodworking and metalworking for grades 3-6.

A professional approach with clear communication and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and school management is seen as an essential part of your work. Good relationships are crucial for learning.

Important personal qualifications include being a confident and clear leader, having good collaboration skills, being flexible, having a sense of humor, and trusting the knowledge and abilities of students and colleagues. You assume that everyone means well and does their best. We also consider being solution-oriented as essential, as well as valuing the team over the individual. We will particularly consider your qualities and experiences to ensure you complement the team well.

To ensure that newly graduated teachers have the best possible start in their careers, you will be part of the School Administration's Teacher Academy introduction for newly graduated teachers. The introduction provides you with a network of other newly graduated teachers and targeted activities during your first year as a teacher.
