About the role

As Head Developer with us, you will play a central role in the company's technical development. You will be responsible for creating and recruiting an IT team that will together:

• Be responsible for the operation, optimization, security, and maintenance of our servers (Ubuntu, Apache, PHP, Solr/Tomcat, MySQL, DNS, etc.).
• Further develop, improve, and rewrite our proprietary e-commerce platforms.
• Manage and optimize our databases (MySQL).
• Work on process development to streamline all parts of the business (warehouse, marketing, customer service, sales, purchasing).
• Develop security mechanisms and on-call systems to ensure continuous availability of our services.
• Further develop integrations between e-commerce systems, business systems (Microsoft NAV), TA systems (transport administration systems), CRM systems, etc.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Leadership experience and the ability to build and develop a team
• Experience in web development and system development, particularly in PHP and JavaScript and/or experience in administering and configuring Linux servers (Ubuntu, Apache, PHP, Solr/Tomcat, MySQL, etc.)
• The ability to prioritize and quickly develop solutions and processes to meet a business with many different needs.
• Experience working in an IT environment with many different systems and services and a desire to improve and modernize partially proprietary systems.
• A pragmatic approach and patience to work in a codebase that is not always optimal but has significant business importance.
