JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for dedicated colleagues for our teams at Gyllenkrooksgatan Home Care Center in the Central district. The home care center consists of three units: Southern, Western, and Eastern. As a care assistant in home care, you work closely with people and provide support in each person's daily life. You perform care and support work in people's own homes.

We operate according to the Social Services Act and the national value base, focusing on the individual's needs at the center. As a care assistant, you motivate and stimulate care recipients based on their individual circumstances, needs, and wishes. The services are assessed for assistance and include everything from personal care, support around meals, assistance in social activities, and service tasks. It also includes performing certain health and medical care or rehabilitative interventions as prescribed by a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.

As a care assistant in home care, you work independently but also together with others in the shared care and support work. You will be exposed to many people's life situations, which can be both interesting and challenging. Your tasks also include being a primary care contact for a number of care recipients. Your visit planning and social documentation are done digitally, and you will receive training in the systems we use.

You have the opportunity to influence your working hours based on the needs of the business through scheduling in Time Care Planning. Scheduled working hours are during the day and evening, as well as weekends. We have close cooperation at the center, and you need to be open to working in all three units as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
• Trained care assistant
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:
• Experience in care and support work
• Experience working with a focus on dementia or mental health
• B driver's license
• Cycling experience

Personal competencies:
• You take responsibility for your and the group's shared tasks. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on how it turned out.
• You are friendly and helpful towards others and show respect for everyone you meet at work. You work to ensure that the care recipient receives what they need.
• You can quickly change your perspective and approach when things change and see opportunities in changes.
• You convey information and ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. You adjust your communication according to whom you are speaking with.
