The Department of Children and Education is now looking for an engaged and competent employee who wants to help drive the digitalization of schools and social services forward. The Department encompasses activities within preschool, primary school, adapted school, and upper secondary school, as well as the social services unit for children and families. The department's mission is to support operations and managers in areas such as administration, finance, digitalization, local supply, law, and authority exercise. The Digitalization and Media Unit, part of the department, works strategically and operationally to develop, support, and assist in the digitalization of schools and social services. The work is carried out from both a pedagogical and administrative perspective, focusing on creating order and clarity in operational systems.

The main goal of the unit is to build a system puzzle that works efficiently for preschool, primary school, adapted school, upper secondary school, and the children and family unit. It is about ensuring that the systems create value for all stakeholders through close collaboration with operations, the IT department, and suppliers.

The Digitalization and Media Unit consists of system administrators, digitalization coordinators, and a unit manager. Together, they form a working group characterized by collaboration, support, and a strong willingness to meet challenges. The group works closely together and has regular, forward-looking meetings that focus on quality assurance and development. Job Responsibilities

The mission of the business developer is to work strategically with the department's system puzzle. The assignment includes:

• Being technically knowledgeable and understanding the technical needs of the operations
• Being the contact person and knowledgeable orderer of IT technical solutions, internally and externally
• Leading feasibility studies and implementation projects within the department and operations
• Being an expert and key person in the procurement of digital systems
• Being technically knowledgeable and a contact link with suppliers.
• Being the local data protection coordinator at the Department of Children and Education
• Being the local information security coordinator at the Department of Children and Education
• Providing support to the unit manager in decision-making

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Academic education in the IT sector combined with relevant work experience or several years of work experience in a relevant field
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
