JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The job primarily involves providing service, support, and assistance in IT matters to the municipality's operations through case management, email, and phone. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for providing our users with the best possible IT support.
You will:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users via support tools, email, and phone.
- Manage cases that come into the service desk, register and categorize them, and follow up to ensure quick and effective resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software for users.
- Maintain a knowledge base with frequently asked questions and answers.
- Work in a distinct Microsoft environment.

Currently, there are six system technicians, three system administrators, and two IT technicians working in the IT unit within the municipal executive administration. QUALIFICATIONS
We prefer that you have some form of IT education, either at the upper secondary or post-secondary level, and/or that you have worked for a couple of years in IT support.
Your experience is not the most important; what matters most is that you have a strong interest in IT, drive, and a desire to develop. You should be comfortable speaking on the phone, and the role involves supporting users via support tools or phone. You have good social skills and are not satisfied with just solving the problem; you want to do it with the best service possible.

- Technical skills and the ability to solve problems for users at various levels.
- Experience working in a service desk or similar support environment.
- Excellent ability to explain technical concepts in a simple way.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certifications in IT support and service desk are advantageous, such as MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Win 10/11, Intune.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.
- A valid driver's license (B) is required.
