The area of operation (VO) imaging and function includes six sections: emergency radiology, pediatric and skeletal radiology, gastrointestinal, urological and thoracic radiology, neuroradiology including dental radiology, clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, as well as clinical neurophysiology, and we are located in Lund, Malmö, Trelleborg, and Eslöv. We are about 750 employees striving to provide first-class diagnostics/treatment and to give our patients and referrers a high degree of service.

VO imaging and function constitutes a complete operation in the field with most possible modalities represented such as CT, MRI, intervention, ultrasound, conventional equipment, and isotope operations. We perform examinations with MRI, computed tomography, mobile CT, angiographies/interventions, as well as CBCT and conventional dental methods. High-quality and multifaceted research and development are conducted here in collaboration with various actors. Our operations consist of similar parts of emergency and elective examinations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a nursing assistant for the radiology department of neuroradiology and dentistry to strengthen our team. One of our largest operations is our angiography service, and it is primarily there that we need reinforcement. As a nursing assistant in our angiography service, you will assist sterilely alongside radiology nurses and doctors, preparing for the intervention by setting up sterile tables and gathering materials and preparing for anesthesia. We work in teams and help ensure that the patient receives the best possible care. Our teams include doctors, radiology nurses, nursing assistants, secretaries, aides, and anesthesia staff. The position includes on-call work.

We work in our digital systems RIS and PACS where we, among other things, book patients for examinations, archive images, and register the examination and its course. We offer internal training in both RIS and PACS.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant with a focus on emergency care/health care according to the previous program structure or are a trained nursing assistant within the new program structure who has studied all specializations. Good language skills in Swedish are required.

Previous experience from angiography, surgery/anesthesia, or emergency services is advantageous. Previous experience with RIS and PACS is also considered advantageous.

As a person, you thrive in a varied work environment and can handle situations with both higher and lower pace in a structured manner. Furthermore, you are driven and have good communication and collaboration skills. You are attentive and humble and value respectful treatment of patients, their relatives, and your colleagues. You should have a good ability to plan and organize your work together with your colleagues. Furthermore, you have a positive attitude towards working with development and change work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

OTHER

As of July 1, 2023, the title nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within health and care. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and are offered a new position, you can retain your title as a nursing assistant until June 30, 2033. In the event of an interview/employment, you must be able to present proof of the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate that you were permanently employed on July 1, 2023. If you do not currently have a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or are covered by transitional provisions, it means that the title in your employment contract will be care assistant and not nursing assistant.
