Madab is a care and support company with offices in Hammarbyhöjden/Johanneshov. We operate in the areas of emergency and family homes, supported housing, and outpatient care.
We are now looking for new employees to join our team at the Emergency and Family Home Unit.
Those of us who work at Madab have a broad competence in care and support from both the private and public sectors. We have extensive experience in meeting children and young people who, in various ways, need the support and interventions of social services.

Job Description
As a family home consultant, your focus is to create conditions and provide support to our emergency and family homes, so that placed children and young people feel they are in a safe environment.
Your workplace will be both in the office and out with the families.
As a family home consultant at Madab, you will have a significant and varied role with the responsibility to:
- Recruit and assess new emergency and family homes.
- Provide support and guidance to the families.
- Collaborate and cooperate with social services, networks, schools, and other important contacts for the child.
- Work systematically with care plans and implementation plans.
- Follow up on interventions and document.

Qualifications
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or behavioral science of at least 180 credits.
At least one year of experience working with children and young people within government or service provision.
Driver's license (B)
Meritorious
It is also advantageous if you have completed a training course for supervisors of emergency and family homes.
Attributes and Skills
You have a strong ability to build relationships. You can relate and communicate with others in a responsive and smooth manner. You can adapt your communication based on the person and situation, and you find it easy to collaborate with others.
You are flexible and can work independently based on goals and assignments, while also being a team player.
You create conditions for engagement, participation, and influence in your way of working and providing support. You think solution-focused.
You have an easy time writing and enjoy writing, and you have good computer skills.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
Other
The position is for 40 hours per week. On-call and standby duty are included in the job.
We apply a 6-month probationary period.

Interviews for the position will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
A background check from the police's suspicion and conviction register is required in connection with employment.
Start date will be agreed upon.
