For our client's account, Worknordic is now looking for a Team Leader in the escalator industry for a well-established company in Täby, northern Stockholm.

This is a recruitment assignment, which means you will be employed directly by our client.

The company is a growing player in the escalator industry, conducting renovations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of escalators in the Stockholm area. They value a healthy work life with an open and inclusive work environment, where everyone should feel they can influence their workday. The company is growing and therefore needs to hire another team leader who can help the company develop further.

About the position:

In the role of Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating the planning and execution of jobs and ensuring that projects adhere to timelines and set deadlines. You will lead a team of escalator technicians and be responsible for forecasts and logistics. You will have customer contact in various projects and work closely with suppliers. You will work based on a budget and make independent decisions that move the work forward. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers and other employees.

Qualifications:

• You have previous experience as a team leader, project manager, or site manager
• You have a background in a technical industry (e.g., escalators, elevators, mechanical workshops, heating plants, etc.)
• You are accustomed to leading staff and can make independent decisions
• You are used to planning jobs and have a structured working method
• You are a proficient computer user
• You hold a valid driver's license (B)
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

If you have previous experience in the escalator industry, it is an advantage for this position, but not a requirement. Holding courses in BAS-P/BAS-U, labor law, and contract law is also advantageous for the position, but not a requirement.
