On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden (SFV) manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.
As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state value foundation, and contribute to positive societal development.
SFV Stockholm centrally manages buildings on Skeppsholmen, Kastellholmen, Riddarholmen, Gamla Stan, and Djurgården. Among our tenants are authorities, museums, as well as restaurant and hotel operations. Our fantastic buildings all have a story to tell and attract visitors from around the world.
The Position
We are a group of colleagues of varying ages with different backgrounds who together contribute to the long-term care of our common cultural heritage. As a facility technician, you will be responsible for the operation of several buildings in close collaboration with other colleagues in the property area. In unique environments and on market-based terms, we deliver first-class operation and management to our tenants.
Our work is very varied and diverse; no two days are alike. Examples of tasks included are supervision and maintenance, media monitoring and operational optimization, SBA, corrective maintenance, and participation in projects.
It may also involve having a cross-area responsibility for certain tasks, such as fire protection coordinator. Since standby duty, with a one-hour response time, may become relevant, a B driver's license is required.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with an education in facility technology or equivalent, or you have acquired similar competence in the workplace. We consider it an advantage if you have good knowledge of property automation, media monitoring, operational optimization, and systematic fire protection work. Since work in various IT systems is part of the position, good computer skills are required. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
Personal Qualities
For us, your personal qualities are important as the operation is SFV's face to the outside world. You appreciate personal meetings, enjoy creating and maintaining personal and professional contacts with tenants, colleagues, and contractors alike. As a person, you are curious and like to take your own initiatives to find smart solutions that improve our work methods. Sharing your experiences and knowledge is something you see as natural. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward, both independently and in a group. A structured working method, as well as order and tidiness, are prerequisites for you to succeed in the role. Working in culturally historical environments is something you value, and you have an understanding of the special requirements that are placed.
More Information
The position is a permanent employment. SFV applies a 6-month probationary period.
If you have questions, please contact the recruiting manager Pierre Svanberg at phone 010-478 74 55.
Union representatives for Saco, Seko, and OFR/S can be reached via our switchboard, 010-478 70 00. More information about SFV can be found at www.sfv.se (http://www.sfv.se).
Before a decision on employment is made, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted. If the employment concerns a position in a security class, the security review will also include a background check, and in some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.
The National Property Board of Sweden operates in sectors that are exposed to various risks of irregularities, therefore, in a preventive manner, there are positions where suitability assessments are conducted.
The application deadline is 2025-05-04, and we look forward to your application and CV.
