Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have about 800 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholmers. We heat over 800,000 residents, and our 300 km long district heating network is the hub for the community benefits we create. We plan to build a carbon capture facility at our biomass power plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than what Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period.

As an operations technician with us, you will be offered interesting and versatile tasks within our production operations of district heating, electricity, and district cooling. Together with your colleagues, you will strive to optimize the operation of our facilities.

You will assist in inspections, monitoring in the control room, and identifying problems in the production operations of district heating, electricity, and district cooling. Furthermore, you will assist with reporting deviations and planning and executing shutdowns and restarts of our facilities.

The role is a permanent position that involves shift work, located at our heating plant in Brista.

Requirements

• Engineering or technician education with a focus on operations or other education combined with relevant work experience for the role
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Driving license B
• Swedish citizenship
