Service/Vehicle Mechanic at JOAB

Do you have a strong mechanical interest and experience in troubleshooting and repairing vehicles?

The client company JOAB is a market-leading player in truck superstructures such as garbage trucks, swap bodies, lift dumpers, and crane systems for heavy transport across the Nordic region. JOAB's dedicated team consists of experienced and knowledgeable employees who strive to provide a high level of service through planned maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of their superstructures. As a candidate, you should have some experience in the automotive industry and feel comfortable working on vehicles.

On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a service/vehicle mechanic, where the tasks primarily focus on service, troubleshooting, and repair of JOAB's superstructures such as swap bodies, lift dumpers, cranes, and garbage trucks. The work will mostly involve problem-solving within mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive technology. You will be based at the client's workshop in Täby, but fieldwork may occur.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Below are the requirements for the position:

• Driver's license category B (manual)
• Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• Documented experience in the automotive industry
• A strong desire to enter the industry and learn about JOAB's vehicles

Meritorious

• Automotive technical education or equivalent (preferably in heavy vehicles)
• Knowledge of vehicle electronics and high-voltage vehicles
• Some knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics
• Category C driver's license
• Crane knowledge
• Overhead crane certification

It is crucial that you are safety-conscious and have the ability to work both efficiently and systematically to ensure good service to customers.
