Torpängsgränd Group Home is located in Gribbylund, within walking distance to a small center and close to both public transport and the beautiful Ängsholmsbadet.

About the Residence

The facilities at Torpängsgränd are adapted for individuals with greater care needs. The group home has six apartments of approximately 42 square meters, each with a kitchen/living room and a separate bedroom. The group home features two lovely communal outdoor areas where residents can enjoy both tranquility and social interaction.

Activities

Activities are organized both collectively and individually based on preferences. One evening a week, those who wish can visit the meeting point at the Oasen leisure center. Themed evenings and dinners are organized there at cost price. Joint activities are also arranged from the department's leisure activities at Gribbylunds Gård.

At Torpängsgränd, there are outdoor swings that are also suitable for individuals in wheelchairs. Once a week, we go swimming in an adapted pool. This means you need to be a competent swimmer and enjoy working with users in swimming facilities.

About the Role

As a Support Assistant at Torpängsgränd Group Home, you will be an important part of our well-functioning and safe work environment. Here, we work together to create a meaningful everyday life for individuals with disabilities. You will support residents through their daily routines, provide personal care, and help plan and implement activities.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with education in health and care, children and leisure, or another equivalent qualification. Experience in care work, preferably with a focus on LSS and clear pedagogical methods, is a significant plus. If you also have knowledge of sign language or TAKK, that would be invaluable!

The positions are 80%, and work occurs during the day, evening, and every other weekend. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled during the application period.
