Right now, Ekolek is looking for more wonderful childminders across the country who want to work with children in their own home environment. If you live in a house, apartment, or on a farm and think that children are the best company in the world – then we have the job for you!

What does the job entail?

As a childminder with us, you will be that safe adult that children love to explore with. Your day will be filled with:

• Outdoor play every day – yes, there will be plenty of fresh air! Everything from walks in the woods to building epic snowmen or splashing around in puddles.
• Cooking with little chefs – you will cook from scratch, but with the help of little hands that are more than eager to stir the pots (and maybe taste a little too much along the way).
• Fun activities – crafts, storytime, building forts, and whatever the children's imagination comes up with for the day.

And the best part? You get paid to do this! Additionally, we cover food and expenses, so you can focus on creating a wonderful and developmental environment for the children.

• Lives in a safe and cozy environment where children can feel at home, whether it’s in the city, the countryside, or somewhere in between
• Thinks that children are the best company in the world and has the ability to meet them with both joy and respect
• Is responsible, patient, and has a sense of both fun and order
• Is easy to collaborate with other adults and is happy to share your experiences
• Enjoys thinking outside the box and coming up with fun activities that make every day exciting

Some formal requirements

To work with us, you need to:

• Have a smoke-free home
• Be able to speak and write in Swedish
• Provide a police clearance certificate
