Activity Facilitators Wanted at Stora Sköndal
We are now looking for several committed and skilled activity facilitators for our daily operations at Stora Sköndal for temporary employment (hourly employment). This is during the spring and summer period when we have a need for extra staff.
We work from a coaching approach to promote participation and co-determination. This means that we continuously adapt to the individual's wishes and interests. The activity facilitators work by being attentive and showing interest in the individual's needs and desires. Based on this, activities are created either in groups or individually.

Please send your application by April 15th. We conduct interviews on an ongoing basis so that the position can be filled before the final application date.
Qualifications
- You should have a basic education at least at the high school level. We prefer that you have an education in care or the child and leisure program, or another equivalent education.
- We would like you to have good experience working with high-functioning individuals within LSS or social psychiatry.
- You should have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Additionally, you are required to use email, the internet, and perform data documentation.
Desirable Qualifications
- Driver's license for manual transmission and driving experience
- Specialized skills for the specific operation
- Knowledge of various functional variations such as autism/NPF/IF
- Good knowledge of low-arousal approaches and attitudes
- Knowledge in AAC - Alternative Augmentative Communication
Personal Attributes
We are looking for someone with a clear and professional approach who shares our values: Equality, Care, and Change.
You should have a genuine commitment to the target group and possess good self-awareness as well as excellent collaboration and communication skills. Additionally, it is important that you are engaged and take responsibility for your own work.
We are a non-profit organization within support, care, education, and research. The fact that we do not distribute any profit allows us to invest all resources in performing our mission as well as possible. Since 1905, operations within the Stiftelsen Stora Sköndal have developed, changed, and improved. Some operations remain, others are entirely new. But one thing does not change: We still work based on the conviction of the equal value of all people.
Every day we want to make life better for all the people we meet in our operations. Today we have about 750 employees, both monthly and hourly, who together work towards our vision - a society with a natural place for everyone. Our culture is permeated by our values - equality, care, and change.
