We are looking for a caring and responsible personal assistant for a person with a muscle disease. The position involves providing support to create an independent and meaningful life. There is also a dog in the home, so you should be comfortable with animals.
Job Responsibilities:
• Assistance with personal care, dressing, hygiene, and during meals.
• Support during transfers, using a floor lift for mobility.
• Assist with household chores and other practical help.
• Accompany during any activities and errands.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working as a personal assistant or in care and support (preferable).
• Is empathetic, flexible, and has a good ability to work independently.
• Has a genuine interest in helping others and creating a positive environment.
• Can work in a team and collaborate with both the user and other assistants.
• Has a driver's license and access to a car (preferable, but not required).
• Is dog-friendly and enjoys being in an environment with a pet.
Working hours: The position is primarily during the day and evening. The extent of working hours will be discussed upon hiring.
