Welcome to Varberg Municipality's health and medical care department. Here, around 100 permanent nurses and about 30 hourly workers currently work. No day is the same for us. We are also in an exciting phase where the introduction of good and close care, combined with a high pace of development, makes it particularly interesting for licensed personnel to seek employment in municipal primary care.

As a nurse within the Social Administration in Varberg Municipality, you will start from the assessed needs and resources of the patient and strive to create good meetings. You will have an independent and varied job. The work offers many learning opportunities in everyday life: the needs and life situations of patients vary, and we provide advanced home care. We offer you, as someone new to our organization, four weeks of basic introduction, based on your conditions. We are now looking for someone who wants to work early night shifts, i.e., a shift that starts at 7 PM and ends the following morning at 5 AM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you who want to be part of our competent nursing teams around the municipality. We have teams both in the city center and in rural areas.

You need to be able to work independently but also collaborate well with colleagues in the team and with other actors. Close cooperation with medical involvement and Hallandsjouren is an important part of ensuring patient safety for the target group.

Therefore, you need to be skilled in planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating nursing interventions.

The health and medical care department, Social Administration, can offer you as a nurse a stimulating, developing, and varied job. It includes 1 weekend every 5 weeks.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply should be a licensed nurse and preferably have several years of experience, preferably within municipal primary care.

The target group is predominantly elderly. Competence, focus - elderly is desirable. Further education as a district nurse is meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. We particularly value good collaboration and organizational skills.

Good computer skills and a driver's license are required.

Varberg Municipality has a political decision regarding the desired employment level. This means that the employee has the right to work full-time or the desired part-time.
