Nurse for Night Team in Falkenberg Municipality

We are now looking for someone interested in working as a nurse in our night team within the municipal primary care in Falkenberg Municipality. We hope you want to help develop health and medical care together with us in Falkenberg Municipality. At night, there are two nurses working together. You will work closely with the nursing assistants in the Security Team, covering the entire Falkenberg Municipality.

In municipal primary care (home care), nurses, district nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, assistants, and managers work together. We work in teams to meet the patient's needs for an independent life with good quality of life. In the teams, there is good collegial support where everyone generously contributes based on their experience, competence, and professional background.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse/district nurse, you work for good and safe care for our citizens who are enrolled in municipal primary care (home care), living in regular housing or in one of the municipality's facilities. In Falkenberg Municipality, we have somatic care, short-term housing, day activities, and dementia units.

In your work, you will go out on urgent and planned medical assignments during on-call hours. Your work will be varied as it involves delegating tasks, making urgent clinical assessments in the patient's home, and over the phone with nursing staff at our special accommodations and in the Security Team.

The night schedule is only 70%, with the possibility to extend your service with other shifts such as evening or day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have further education in district nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatry, but it is not a requirement. A valid B driver's license is required for the position.
