Do you want to work in a future-oriented industry where your analyses and calculations contribute to sustainable energy solutions? At Göteborg Energi, we are now looking for two meticulous and analytical estimators who want to be key players in our operations.

Your task

As an estimator, you will be responsible for producing calculations by assessing materials, working hours, and other costs related to projects. You will primarily work with our distribution projects in ground-laid district heating, district cooling, and gas, but calculations related to projects within our production facilities may also be relevant. Your work is an important part of both the preparation of decision-making materials and the follow-up of ongoing projects. You will work closely with project managers, designers, and other functions to ensure accurate data. An important part of the job is also to analyze carbon footprints and compare different solutions to find the most sustainable option. You will follow up on calculations and develop our working methods to continuously improve the precision of our assessments.

Here you will have the opportunity to develop relationships both internally and externally, which means you will collaborate with different departments and external parties to ensure that our calculations are both precise and strategically oriented.

Your qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, and we prefer that you have worked as an estimator with experience in calculations or quotes within contracting projects. You are meticulous, structured, and have a good understanding of AMA, construction law (primarily AB04), purchasing, and framework agreements. Experience in road and ground construction as well as earthworks is a significant advantage.

Even if you will not be conducting successive calculations yourself, it is beneficial if you have experience with them, as you will be involved in their implementation.

We are looking for someone who sees practical solutions to complex problems and enjoys analytical work. You are driven by achieving results and have a natural ability to engage and motivate those around you to reach goals together. Since you will be working on several calculations simultaneously, you need to have good structure and the ability to plan your work effectively.
