We have made a decision! We are going to be a leading municipality – and we have everything it takes to succeed. Short decision-making paths, collaboration across operational boundaries, and the willingness to dare more. Our high ambitions give you the opportunity to grow and create positive change for the citizens. As an employee of Ekerö municipality, you will have a valuable role in our unique archipelago – and we look forward to your application.

THE OPEN CARE UNIT is a unit within the Social Administration's individual and family care. The open care offers a wide range of assessed assistance measures and open preventive measures aimed at both children, adolescents, families, and adults. We have family therapists, adult therapists, social workers, treatment assistants, and network leaders working with us.

Job Description

We believe in you and your abilities – that’s why we give you great freedom in your role. Many who work with us appreciate the trust and responsibility they receive in our municipality, as it contributes to much learning and development in everyday life. To succeed, you need to be secure in yourself, your profession, and have the ability to both take initiative – and set boundaries.

Within Individual and Family Care, we collaborate within and across unit boundaries - this gives you proximity to both colleagues, support functions, and managers, but also good conditions to find the best solution for our citizens and clients. We work without prestige and learn from each other.

The Open Care Unit is now looking for a network leader. The network leader will receive assignments from all units within individual and family care. Your task as a network leader is to mobilize, invite, and lead various types of network meetings such as process-oriented network meetings, SIP meetings, safety planning according to signs of safety for children and adolescents, and more.

In Ekerö municipality, we have, compared to other municipalities, a relatively low influx of cases which allows time for both reflection and development. This gives us an organization that also has good opportunities to seek new ways to reach our citizens and develop together with them.

We work with a holistic perspective for the individual. We base our work on systems theory with a focus on resources and relationships, where we try to help people strengthen what already works instead of focusing on deficiencies. It is important that you who apply for the position share this fundamental view.

We offer flexible working hours and a workplace centrally located in Ekerö, just 15 minutes by bus from Brommaplan or 5 minutes from Jungfrusund (Ekeröleden ferry). For those commuting from Stockholm city, commuter boat 89 departs from Klara Mälarstrand via Lilla Essingen and Ekensberg. With us, you can also enjoy days off on bridge days and half days before public holidays. You can also exchange vacation compensation for more vacation days.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • a degree in social work or another equivalent education assessed by the employer
  • at least five years of relevant and current experience in social work with children, adolescents, and families
  • experience in holding network meetings
  • experience and knowledge of systems theory

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience and training in Signs of Safety
  • Training as a network leader
  • Training in MI
  • Driver's license B

In this role, you need to be proactive, unpretentious, and have a very good ability to collaborate with others. At the same time, it is important that you can also work independently and can drive and develop your work. As a person, you need to be secure and have good self-awareness, good mentalization ability, and great courage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Start date: 2025-09-01 or by agreement
Extent: Full-time
Employment form: Permanent
