The Infectious and Skin Clinic is a clinic in constant development where we are challenged by new goals, and we value high ambitions, collaboration, and a good laugh during the workday.

We are the small clinic with the big heart.

The clinic has its operations well gathered in its own building in Karlskrona and a smaller skin clinic in Karlshamn. We are responsible for specialized care in infectious and skin diseases both in inpatient and outpatient care. Our clinics provide care with high quality and always with the patient in focus. We meet patients with various infectious and skin diseases and also conduct needle exchange and sexual health services. At the skin clinic, we provide modern skin care.

The ambition level is high regarding inflammatory skin diseases and skin cancer treatment. The work environment is good, and the current medical staffing consists of three senior consultants, one specialist doctor, and four resident doctors. We prioritize good clinical supervision and high medical quality. The clinic has recently undergone a SPUR inspection of the working environment for resident doctors with very good results.

About the Job

We are now looking for a resident doctor in dermatology and venereology for our skin clinic. The position includes regular consultations including STI and surgeries. Clinical supervision is a natural part of the operation. The main placement is in Karlskrona, but work in Karlshamn may occur.

About You

We are looking for a licensed physician with an interest in dermatology. It is important for us that you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment.

We actively work with our competence supply to create a stable group of doctors and prefer that you have a local connection to Blekinge. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a crisis position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
