To work more closely with our clients and build trust, we continuously develop our working methods and approaches.
The placement unit works with children and young people aged 0-21 who are placed outside their homes. From January 2025, the unit will consist of a unit manager and 21 employees divided into three groups, each with its own group leader. Two of the groups work with children placed in foster homes, while the third newly formed group, which you will belong to, works with children and young people placed outside their homes in other care forms such as HVB homes, supported housing, and treatment families.

We offer
A newly started group where you will have good opportunities to influence and contribute to the development of the operations. The purpose of the group is to closely monitor care with frequent follow-ups and to plan early for the next steps in the care chain.
In the unit, we have close and accessible management. We offer a developing job where you have the opportunity to work together with engaged colleagues. You will have regular external supervision, and during the year we will begin implementing Signs of Safety.

Your role
Your main task is to follow up on the care of children and young people, for example, in HVB or supported housing, and to plan for the next steps in the care chain. You work together with children and young people, their families, and networks. You collaborate closely with actors involved around the child, such as schools and healthcare. You prepare assessments, reviews, and conduct investigations as needed. The work involves exercising authority according to applicable legislation, primarily SoL and LVU.
Your qualifications and experience
Qualifications for the position:
- Graduated social worker
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- Experience as a social worker within child and youth authorities
Meritorious
- Knowledge and experience of Signs of Safety
- Training in EARL, SAVRY, iRisk
You are curious, want to develop and learn new things to make a difference.
