Do you want to work in a dynamic role where you take responsibility for the entire supply chain – from supplier to store shelf – at one of Sweden's leading players in consumer products, medicine, and health? We are currently looking for a Demand Planner for a parental leave cover of approximately 1.5 years, responsible for self-developed products and items sold exclusively via e-commerce. The company is well-known with a strong and beloved brand.
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for demand forecasts within your product portfolio. This means that you will continuously monitor and analyze sales data, improve forecast accuracy, and work proactively to avoid excess inventory. You will closely collaborate with category managers, suppliers, and other internal key functions.
You will also play an important role in the introduction and phase-out of products in the assortment, where you will use reference data and forecasting tools to ensure a smooth transition. We appreciate if you have an interest in improving and automating processes to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
This is a parental leave cover for about 18 months. You will be working as a consultant through us at A-hub.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve forecasts in the company's purchasing and forecasting tools (Relex) - Conduct regular check-ins with suppliers regarding service levels, lead times, and any delivery issues
- Be responsible for effective management of product life cycles with a high service level
- Work proactively to manage excess inventory and slow-moving products in collaboration with product and category teams as well as e-commerce
- Plan and follow up on campaigns
- Drive improvement initiatives within your area to streamline processes and enhance forecast quality and order flow
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a relevant university degree in logistics, economics, or supply chain management
- Has approximately 3 years of experience working as a Demand Planner or in a similar role, with a good understanding of purchasing and supply chains
- Is experienced in forecasting and has good knowledge of inventory management principles
- Is comfortable working with various forecasting and purchasing systems, preferably Relex
- Communicates fluently in Swedish and English
- Has excellent skills in Excel
- Is structured, self-driven, analytical, and decisive with a good ability to collaborate with different functions
Meritorious:
- Experience from retail, FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods), project management, or campaign planning

Employment type: Assignment, approx. 18 months. Start: According to agreement considering notice period. Scope: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-17. Location: Stockholm
