JOB DESCRIPTION

We work with a salutogenic approach and strive to see the whole person.

As a care assistant in home care, you will provide care and service interventions in the client's home based on the implementation plan. This can involve everything from escorting and personal hygiene to daily chores and walks. We work according to the Individual's Needs in Focus (IBIC) and continuously use digital solutions and systems. We are proud to be available for our clients every day of the year and at all hours, which means we work days, evenings, and weekends. The job includes good communication with clients and relatives, close collaboration with colleagues, and health care tasks delegated from a nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Care Assistant
• Professional certificate in completed and approved care assistant education for high school programs or other approved education. Alternatively, a nursing assistant.
• Swedish language skills and good computer skills.
• Documentation is an important part of our work, and you therefore need to have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• Driver's license (B)
• Documented experience

It is an advantage if you have work experience in care and support, low-arousal approach, and/or clear pedagogical methods, as well as experience with documentation in the Life Care system.

OTHER

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement. Karlskrona municipality works with full-time as the norm and offers 100% employment rate. Working hours during the day and evening on weekdays and weekends. You will be placed in Sturkö home care but may work within our collaborative area as needed.
