About Us

Östra Närvården includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, wound centers, and rehabilitation centers.

Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to healthcare that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities of the county, in several smaller locations, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care facility where teamwork and patient needs are at the center.

Wämö health center is one of the public health centers within Hälsoval Blekinge. We are a great team of about 25 employees who together take care of our 7,600 registered patients. The health center is located on the hospital grounds, with excellent communication options close to train and bus stations. In the evenings and on weekends, Karlskrona's emergency center operates in part of our premises.

About the Job

We now need to strengthen the staffing at Wämö health center in Karlskrona. Would you like to be a part of our wonderful team? Then you are warmly welcome to apply! You will be involved in exciting improvement and development work. At the health center, you will meet everyone from small children to our elderly citizens. Tasks include reception work, medical assessments, telephone advice, digital care meetings, dressings, triage, and more. Since February this year, we have been working in teams at Wämö health center to provide the best care and continuity for our patients.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse/community nurse. You have a genuine interest in helping people and always work with the patient in focus. You are confident in your professional role and are a positive colleague who contributes to our good work environment. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and the ability to adapt your workday as needed. Since we are keen to find a colleague who complements our team, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We apply ongoing selection. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a crisis situation. Some of our positions are security classified, requiring the employee to undergo a security interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Applicants who are considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.
