Practical training for Specialist Doctors in the Med3Comp project Falun

Job Responsibilities

Med3Comp is an EU-funded project aimed at facilitating the validation process for specialist doctors educated outside the EU/EEA and supporting both professional and social integration in Sweden.

As a participant in the program, you will:

• Participate in clinical practice for 6 months, practical training.
• Receive language support if needed.
• Participate in community orientation as part of your integration into Swedish society.
• Receive assistance with practical matters such as work permits, housing, and schools for both you and any accompanying family members.

Additional Information

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has received a decision to undertake practical training from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Has Swedish language skills at least at level B2, which we assess as sufficient for practical training.
• Is a specialist doctor.

Note: We cannot process applications that do not have the decision for practical training attached.

Personal Qualities:

It is important that you can work well with others, are attentive, and have a good attitude towards patients and colleagues. You organize and prioritize your work effectively. Selection for the project is based on Region Dalarna's current need for specialist doctors. For example, if a healthcare center is looking for a specialist in general medicine, this specialty will be prioritized in the selection of applications. However, it is crucial that all requirements and personal qualities are met.
