The Adult Psychiatry in Falun and Säter has a county-wide mission within adult psychiatry, responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, and addiction treatment. Nurse, Psychiatric Emergency Department Säter

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to make a real difference in people's lives - every day? Now you have the chance to work at Dalarna's only psychiatric emergency department, where we are staffed with nurses around the clock.

As a nurse in the psychiatric emergency department, you will:

• assess patients' psychiatric conditions both via phone (Tele-Q) and during physical visits
• be responsible for care level assessment and guidance to the right form of care
• provide advice and information about treatment options and strategies
• collaborate closely with on-call doctors and other healthcare staff
• work with various care partners such as outpatient psychiatry, police, social services, etc.

You will be an important part of a team where the work fluctuates between calm and high-intensity periods. In the psychiatric emergency department, we work day/evening - no night shifts - and most work every other weekend. We place great emphasis on trying to adapt the schedule to staff preferences.
