We are now looking for two nurses for department 42 to continue developing the surgical clinic at Mora Hospital. We warmly welcome your application today. The department currently has 18 beds, and we work in multiprofessional teams. Here, patients with a wide variety of surgical and urological diseases and conditions are cared for, many of our patients undergo both preoperative and postoperative procedures. We have patients of all ages. 70% of the operations are emergency admissions, and the rest are planned activities.

We believe that everyone is new at the beginning and that one never becomes fully trained; we constantly develop in our work because no day is like the other. Many times, this is both the charm and the challenge of surgical work in our department, the constant variation in work.

We work 2 out of 5 weekends and have flexible hours that can be utilized as time allows. The position allows for rotation on three shifts, but this is not a requirement.

Job Responsibilities

Here in department 42 at Mora Hospital, you will encounter a variety of conditions and diseases within surgery, which means you will gain broad competence. In your role as a nurse, you will lead the nursing work for the patients in the team you work in. You need to be able to make independent decisions while also being a team player and involving the entire team to provide good and patient-safe care.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a curiosity to learn more and develop. We want you to have good collaboration skills and always strive to work evidence-based based on practice and proven experience. You put the patient and their needs first. We prefer that you are confident in yourself, attentive, and clear in your communication, and have an interest in wanting to develop care.
