Currently, four orthodontic specialists, ten orthodontic assistants, two dental nurses, and a receptionist work at the Orthodontic Clinic in Falun. The responsibility for orthodontics in Region Dalarna is shared with the Orthodontic Clinic in Mora, which employs two orthodontic specialists and four orthodontic assistants.

The Orthodontic Clinic in Falun is located in the same building as the Center for Oral Rehabilitation, which includes Endodontics, Oral Prosthetics, Periodontology, and Pedodontics. In total, 13 specialist dentists, 2 assistant dentists, and 3 credentialed dentists work in their experienced teams. The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, Dental Radiology, and Orofacial Medicine are just a stone's throw away at Falu Hospital. The Orthodontic Clinic in Dalarna has a close collaboration with other dental specialties and general dental care clinics in Dalarna.

As an orthodontic specialist at the Orthodontic Clinic in Falun, you will have significant collegial support from several experienced colleagues and work across the entire orthodontic spectrum, including anchorage implants, aligner treatments, and digital planning.

You will be involved in mentoring future ST dentists and in our mission to further develop general dental care through observations, course activities, and mentoring of general dental care staff. You will have orthodontic consultations at general dental clinics either physically or digitally. Removable orthodontics is performed at general dental clinics by orthodontic teams linked to specialist dental care. The Orthodontic Clinic in Falun is currently working to digitize the entire care flow and places great emphasis on developing teamwork. Currently, there are four doctoral candidates within specialist dental care in Dalarna, and we welcome your interest in research.

Requirements:

• Licensed dentist with specialist competence in orthodontics

Meritorious:

• Previous employment as an orthodontic specialist
• Experience in mentoring

Great importance is placed on personal qualities such as initiative and organizational ability, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
