Your Role

Saab is now looking for a Facility Manager who wants to contribute to our success by optimizing our premises and driving development projects. With us, you will have a varied and dynamic workday where innovation and change are part of the culture. Our property organization, Group Property, is responsible for over 1 million square meters of space in Sweden - from Malmö in the south to Boden in the north. The department you will belong to, FM North, currently has 12 employees and is responsible for the operation and management of premises in central and northern Sweden. As part of Group Property, you will be involved in creating and maintaining a work environment where employees thrive and can perform at their best. This role gives you the opportunity to combine your interest in developing workplaces with your experience in project management and property management.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of our premises, focusing on optimizing functionality and cost-effectiveness.
• Development of an attractive and well-functioning work environment that supports the needs of the business and promotes employee well-being and productivity.
• Coordination and partnership with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and clients, to ensure high quality and efficiency in deliveries.
• Planning and execution of construction and renovation projects, where you are responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company requirements.

Initially, you will focus on our units in the Stockholm region, but the role may expand to other areas, including international assignments.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is business-minded and has a natural ability to build and maintain long-term relationships. You are collaborative, responsible, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. With your ability to solve problems and manage technical and operational challenges, you contribute to creating value and strengthening the business.

This is what we expect from you:

• Relevant work experience in property management, contracting, or construction/installation.
• Ability to manage projects from start to finish and navigate complex collaborations.
• Good knowledge of workplace and building legislation as well as industry regulations such as AFF, AB, and ABT.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license and the ability to travel within Sweden, and if necessary, internationally.

We prefer that you have a university degree in property management, construction, electrical engineering, or HVAC. If you have acquired equivalent knowledge and experience through work experience or continuous professional development, we value that equally.

Desirable Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in property management, contracting, or property operations.
• Previous experience in leadership or project management.
• Ability to combine creative thinking with structure and business acumen.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
