Your Role

As a technical project manager, you will hold a key position in the development of world-leading EW systems and be responsible for technical governance and management of customer projects. You will oversee projects where we develop advanced products for use in air, land, and sea domains. Our world-leading electronic signal intelligence and self-protection systems help protect platforms and gather valuable information about the environment. You will be part of a fun and dynamic team with an informal and open culture. We are now looking for more technical project managers for the Product Unit Electronic Surveillance (PU ES) in Järfälla.

Your role is to communicate goals and responsibilities together with the project manager, clearly specify technical solutions, and manage project risks considering requirements, timelines, budgets, scope, and quality. This includes close collaboration with product, customer, and end-users to ensure systems meet customer expectations.

You will manage a wide group of internal and external stakeholders, including customers, line managers, and other key personnel. Your tasks will also involve close cooperation with many different disciplines and departments, such as systems, software development, integration and verification, quality and configuration management, logistics, design, and production. The role also involves travel, sometimes at short notice, both nationally and internationally, to our customers and within the company.

• Lead the technical work with the help of specialists and teams
• Analyze and manage technical risks
• Contribute to executing project activities in an efficient and competitive manner

Your Profile

We expect you to have a solid technical background with at least five years of experience in project management, systems engineering, integration, or product development. Experience with EW systems and Signal Intelligence is a plus.

We prefer that you have leadership experience and feel comfortable in a role where you inspire and engage others. You have a broad overview and the ability to manage parallel demands in projects. You are structured and results-oriented, with a strong technical and systematic understanding. You can act quickly when needed and enjoy solving challenges.

Furthermore, you have excellent collaboration and communication skills and actively seek information to stay updated. You have an analytical and attentive approach, combined with self-awareness and a genuine interest in personal development. Additionally, you are eager to develop both your technical expertise and your leadership skills.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for certain citizenship.
