Summer Staff Wanted at AvAsta BmSS

This applies to our four BmSS units; Djurgårdsgatan, Astagården, Stallbacken, and Kvillebäcken.

Business Description - BmSS

AvAsta has 4 units focused on social psychiatry where we operate in modern and exciting residential areas in Mölndal, Hisingen, and Majorna. Astagården in Kungsbacka is a rural farm with nature as a neighbor. Psychosocial issues, NPF diagnoses with substance and alcohol syndromes and/or comorbidity are prevalent in our operations.

The operations consist of service housing, group housing, and individual apartments. The operations are led by a unit manager. The operations have permission from the Health and Care Inspectorate (IVO).

Job Responsibilities

Your task is to provide quality of life. Thanks to you and your support, our tenants can live meaningful lives. You see each person and interpret what they need and brighten the lives of the people in the residence.

The job responsibilities include supporting individuals in their daily lives and leisure, as well as helping them achieve their goals according to their implementation plan. This includes accompanying tenants to various activities and meetings and promoting good collaboration with colleagues, social services, guardians, and other actors in the individual's life. You will also be responsible for social documentation and other assignments included in the position. You will also be a contact person for one or more tenants, supporting and assisting them in their change processes.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a support assistant, treatment assistant, treatment educator, social educator, leisure educator, nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, or has another equivalent education.
• Is secure and stable and has the ability to remain calm when meeting people in distress.
• We see low-affect responses as meritorious and believe you will thrive best with us if you can handle sudden events.
• Experience with substance use disorders is meritorious.
• Can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A driver's license is meritorious.

Conditions

As we care about the safety of our staff and tenants, we apply random drug and alcohol tests and require a criminal record check. A pre-employment test will take place before employment begins. We promote a smoke-free workplace.
