Central Planning Engineer (CPI) for Flight Safety Material System

About the Position
TVA (Technical and Maintenance Department) is the technical office of the Air Force responsible for maintaining continued airworthiness and maintenance production, modification activities, and common technical issues for all aviation material systems in the Armed Forces. Part of TVA consists of the Technical and Maintenance Section for Helicopter and Flight Safety Material, 1.TVS, located in Linköping. We are now looking for a Central Planning Engineer (CPI) for the Flight Safety Material System.
As a CPI, you will be responsible for central planning and management of the Flight Safety Material to meet the needs of the Armed Forces. You will ensure that maintenance agreements are followed and participate in the development of new maintenance agreements. Your tasks will also include budgeting and follow-up. You will participate in the work with maintenance issues and ensure that regulations, including continued airworthiness, are monitored and managed throughout the system's entire lifecycle. Inputting and updating current data systems is part of the job. You will have a functional leadership role towards flight system sections at units and will be led by the Maintenance Leader and Technical Manager for Flight Safety Material. The work is conducted and led in collaboration with both industry, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, and units in the Armed Forces. International industry contacts and collaboration with other nations/operators occur, and the working language is English.
Main Responsibilities
- Short- and long-term operation, maintenance, and spare parts planning
- Budgeting and financial follow-up, invoice management, etc.
- Monitoring maintenance agreements and participating in the procurement of maintenance agreements (in the contract preparation group)
- Functionally lead Central Material Planners (CMP)
- Coordinate the supply of reserve materials for the system through the leadership and management of PI and MP (planning engineers and material planners at units), as well as participating in the procurement of agreements regarding Flight Safety Material
- Participate in analyses of the efficiency of the maintenance program for Flight Safety Material
- Participate in and lead meetings within the framework of the maintenance of the material system
- CPI supports, together with CSI, in maintenance preparation
- Review authority regarding Technical Orders (TO) and other publications
- Material follow-up within the current flight system's operational data systems
- Input and update current operational follow-up systems.
Qualifications
- Approved engineering degree or equivalent education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Knowledge of conducting aviation material service (RML V6 D/V6 A or EASA Part M/Part 145)
- Good ability to report and document your work in writing
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driver's license B.

Meritorious
- Good knowledge of operational follow-up/planning regarding aviation material
- Experience from aviation material service within the Armed Forces
- Knowledge and authorization within the FM's existing flight operational data systems (GDU, Fenix, PRIO, Lift, etc.)
- Experience in preparing and managing supplier agreements
- Good knowledge of the Armed Forces' material process
- Knowledge of flight system construction, maintenance systems, and maintenance construction
- Familiarization course for Flight Safety Material
- FENIX authorization.
Other
Employment type: permanent civilian employment. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: 100%.
Work location: Linköping.
Start date: by agreement.
Salary: individual salary setting.
On-call duty may occur in connection with exercises/operations.
Business trips within and outside the country may occur.
