Due to retirement, we are now seeking a qualified medical care administrator who wants to be part of the Child and Adolescent Medicine Department, located at the Child and Adolescent Clinic Stora Holmen in Örebro. With us, you will have a varied and developing job where the administrative unit plays a central role in the operation. You will work alongside nurses, doctors, medical care administrators, and administrators. The position involves close collaboration with other professional categories, so it is essential that you have good teamwork skills and a high level of service.

At the Child and Adolescent Medicine Department, we work according to the fundamental principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. We strive for equal healthcare of the highest quality for the children and adolescents in the region and their families, ensuring that children receive care at the right level and at the right time. Our administrative unit is a central function that ensures that all processes run smoothly and that our patients receive the care and support they need. At the Child and Adolescent Clinic Stora Holmen in Örebro, there are a total of 2 medical care administrators and 1 administrator. The administrative unit of the Child and Adolescent Medicine Department consists of a total of 19 medical care administrators and 4 administrators spread across our four clinics in the region:

• Child and Adolescent Clinic, Örebro University Hospital
• Child and Adolescent Clinic, Stora Holmen
• Child and Adolescent Clinic, Karlskoga Hospital
• Child and Adolescent Clinic, Lindesberg Hospital

In addition to the clinics, we have, at the university hospital in Örebro, two care departments, a day care department, and a paramedical unit.

Örebro University Hospital (USÖ) is one of the region's three emergency hospitals where we provide advanced healthcare, research, and education. In both 2020 and 2019, USÖ received the prestigious award for Best University Hospital from Dagens Medicin. USÖ won the highest category for medical quality, had the best results in the categories of accessibility, economy, and avoiding pressure ulcers and overcrowding. USÖ also tops the results in the areas of cardiology, kidney failure, and vascular surgery. USÖ has about 550 care places and 3,500 employees. Job Responsibilities

• Medical documentation.
• Referral management and patient booking.
• Coordination of care efforts as well as communication and information.
• Invoicing and financial management.
• Mail and document handling.
• IT support for healthcare personnel and reception work as needed.

Qualifications

You should have an approved education as a medical care administrator, medical secretary, or doctor’s secretary. You must have very good knowledge of the Swedish language and be able to express yourself clearly and correctly in both speech and writing. Computer proficiency is a requirement. We are looking for someone who:
