APL Coordinator and Business Contact for Örebro/Värmland & Gothenburg/Trollhättan

Do you want to help build the workforce of the future? We are looking for an APL Coordinator and Business Contact who is passionate about creating strong relationships between education and the labor market. In this role, you will be responsible for securing workplace-based learning (APL) for our participants in construction, vehicles, and machine operators – while actively working on selling our educational services to companies.

We are currently recruiting for two geographical areas:

1. Örebro + Värmland (Construction, vehicles, and machine operators in Örebro; Trucks and buses in Karlstad)
2. Gothenburg + Trollhättan (Construction in Trollhättan; Machinery, vehicles, trucks, and buses in Gothenburg)

This position is part of a pilot project where we are testing and developing the role for the future. Upon successful evaluation after 6 months, there is an opportunity for a permanent position and further development of the role.

About the Role

As an APL Coordinator and Business Contact, you play a key role in building bridges between education and the labor market. You will be responsible for:

• Securing APL placements for our participants and ensuring they receive an education that is relevant to the labor market.
• Following up on participants' development and quality-assuring the APL period through contact with supervisors and companies.
• Selling our educational services. E-learning, customized corporate training, and skills-enhancing initiatives.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with companies, industry organizations, and other stakeholders in the industry.
• Working strategically with environmental scanning to identify new business opportunities.

Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have experience in sales, business development, or collaboration with the business community within the education sector, transport, construction, or industry.
• Have the ability to build long-term relationships and enjoy creating new contacts.
• Are self-driven and motivated by results – you like to achieve goals and work towards clear KPIs.
• Have experience working with vocational training, staffing, or labor market initiatives.
• Are a skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Have a B driver's license, as travel within the region is part of the role.

Salary and Employment Terms

• Base salary + performance-based compensation
• A company car is available during the pilot period. Upon successful evaluation and continued employment, a company car may be offered.
• The position is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period
• Placement in Örebro (for one role) and Gothenburg (for the other role)
