Your Mission

You will work both independently and in a team with your colleagues, identifying and preventing risks in care and mapping the user's needs for health and medical care interventions. In your role, you will also educate and guide staff in nursing work in a pedagogical manner. We document in the Lifecare HSL system and you will also work in several quality registers. In your work, you will collaborate with care actors both internally and externally. In our operations, you will have the opportunity to work on development as we have development projects in several areas.

The working hours are scheduled for daytime.

Workplace Description

We are now looking for a nurse for the Eklunda care and nursing home in Söderhamn municipality. Eklunda is located in Stråtjära in the western part of the municipality. Eklunda consists of a total of 26 apartments distributed over 3 departments. Each department consists of 8-9 apartments, and 2 departments are group homes for people with dementia. Currently, one nurse works with us, and you will work closely with unit managers, nursing staff, and rehabilitation staff. The nursing unit consists of nurses, specialist nurses, and district nurses at care and nursing homes, short-term care, functional support, and home care. The nursing unit is responsible for municipal health and medical care interventions around the clock.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse; further education in elderly care or district nurse training is considered an advantage. You need to be proficient in the Swedish language in both speech and writing as the work requires communication and documentation. A driver's license is a requirement for the position.

You are adaptable and see changes as an opportunity to grow and develop. You enjoy working in a team and understand the importance of communicating openly and supporting your colleagues to achieve common goals.

You have the ability to organize and structure your work effectively. By planning and prioritizing, you ensure that your tasks are carried out smoothly and within deadlines.
