JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Nurse/Public Health Nurse in Home Healthcare, you will work in a smaller health and medical care organization that provides home healthcare, special housing, and LSS operations within Ockelbo Municipality. The operation consists of a cohesive workgroup including Public Health Nurse, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Rehabilitation Assistant, Physiotherapist, and Nursing Assistant.

You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on health and medical care interventions as well as documenting these.

In home healthcare, most nurses and public health nurses work during the day, evening, and weekend. Some changes in the schedule may occur as it is more optimal for certain operations that home healthcare staffs to work during the day. During so-called on-call hours, i.e., evening, night, and weekend, a working nurse collaborates well with other care staff in the municipality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed Nurse. Relevant further education and experience in similar work are meritorious. You are interested in working with municipal health and medical care and in developing the operation based on quality and patient safety.

As a person, you are responsible, have good communication skills, and can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for employment.

Probationary employment may be applied.

The position is temporary with the possibility of extension.
