JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist in home care, you will work at the homes of patients in regular housing who are enrolled in municipal home care, as well as at the homes of patients living in special housing.

As an occupational therapist in home care, you will perform the usual tasks for a licensed occupational therapist, such as:

• Functional and mobility assessments
• ADL assessments
• Prescription of aids according to the prescription process (investigate, prescribe, trial, instruct/train, follow up)
• Assist doctors in investigations regarding cognitive disorders
• Perform occupational therapy interventions, e.g., hand/arm training, mobility training, ADL training, etc.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and internally within the municipality by participating in SIP, team meetings, rounds, etc.
• Guide other care staff and colleagues regarding activities, rehabilitative approaches, aid management, etc.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, but much independent work will also occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Previous experience in municipal health and medical care is an advantage. You have an interest in developing operations based on quality and patient safety.

As a person, you are responsible, have good communication skills, and can work independently as well as with others in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for employment.

A probationary period may apply.

The position is full-time, but part-time is possible by agreement.
